Our Story

During the COVID-19 pandemic, JET noticed a disturbing trend, children were disappearing at alarming rates while the world’s attention was consumed by lockdowns and uncertainty. What began as a grassroots awareness campaign soon evolved into a full-fledged mission to protect vulnerable children and expose the hidden networks that profit from their exploitation. Among the most overlooked victims are children who go missing from foster care. Too often, these disappearances are brushed aside as runaways, never properly investigated, never widely reported. JET and the Pietas Coalition believe these children deserve advocacy, justice, and relentless preventative efforts that any missing child would appreciate.

JET, a U.S. Army veteran and founder of JET2020 LLC, understood that blatant silence and media distractions are the greatest allies of traffickers. Determined not to let this injustice continue unchecked, JET rallied a coalition of advocates, parents, survivors, and community leaders. Together, they created the Pietas Coalition Corporation, a nonprofit committed to promoting awareness, prevention, and intervention strategies that safeguard children from trafficking and exploitation.

What makes Pietas unique is its unwavering commitment to working with communities, not just for them. Through educational workshops, community walks, partnerships with law enforcement, and strategic alliances with schools and local businesses, the coalition transforms ordinary people into informed protectors.

Our mission is rooted in one simple belief: every child deserves to grow up safe, seen, and free from fear. The pandemic may have revealed the cracks in our systems, but it also awakened a new generation of watchful advocates determined to close them for good.
