Congratulations! Pietas Coalition Celebrates its' 1 yr Anniversary with a Grant Award

Pietas Coalition, formed April 11th, 2026, is honored to share that we have been awarded our first grant in the amount of $1,000 from the Sumter Junior Welfare League. This meaningful support represents more than funding but rather a shared commitment to protecting children, strengthening families, and promoting awareness throughout our community.

This award will be applied toward the continued development of our Community Safety Seminar curriculum, expansion of public education outreach, and upcoming awareness events, including the Art in the Park Traveling Canvas Spotlight, which brings conversations about child safety and community vigilance into public spaces in a creative and approachable way. Grant funds will also help us secure essential equipment needed for seminars, displays, and local outreach efforts.

As Pietas Coalition approaches its first year of service, moments like this remind us that prevention work grows strongest through partnership. We are deeply grateful to the Sumter Junior Welfare League for believing in the importance of early education, community involvement, and proactive protection for the next generation.
